This gym and its staff are amazing! They are so detailed about everything they want you to do, which is great for a rule follower like me. This was my first time training at a gym outside my home, and I loved the accountability and encouragement they gave. In 6 weeks I was able to lose 16lbs, gain 5lbs of muscle, and ended up dropping 8% of my body fat! My wife and I have decided to get a membership, and continue with our healthier lifestyle. If you’re serious about wanting to feel and look better all you have to do is FTDI (follow the damn instruction) and it will happen!

I reached out to Joe at Elite Edge 6-weeks ago, somewhat in desperation due to impacts my weight has had on my health. I was having severe acid reflux, fatigue, and every time I went to the doctor’s office, the scale read a higher number – which had become more and more concerning. When he told me I could loose 20-pounds, I thought it was a total scam but was willing to give anything a try.After completing the first challenge, I’m down 30 pounds and feel great. The acid reflux has all but disappeared, my posture is much improved, and am full of energy. Part of the program certainly can be credited to the change in diet, but the exercise routine has had an amazing impact also. Our coach, Malerie, is amazing – a great motivator – and pushed us to be our best. The gym has a full suite of equipment and the routines are different each day.It’s been a great, life changing experience. Planning to stay the course for the long term.

The 6 week challenge that I completed was a great experience. The trainers at the Ankeny location pushed you and were easy to talk to if you had any questions. During the 6 weeks you are supposed to follow a specific food intake and I felt that it was fairly simple to follow. After the first few weeks of meal prepping it became a routine to cook all the food. The morning workouts were nice to get them out of the way so I didn’t have to worry about distractions taking me away from getting a workout in. I would recommend looking into this.

Workouts are tough and challenging! Always mixing it up which truly helps to not fall into a rutt. The trainers are great. Super helpful and always checking in throughout our challenge. They are there for workout and nutritional advice. If you're ready to make a change in your life and habits, the 6wk Challenge is a great jumping off point!

I just finished my first 6 week challenge & I am so extremely happy with my results! I lost the weight & gained muscle like they promised that I would! I am finally at a weight & body fat percentage that is healthy for the first time in 23years! I went down a couple sizes in jeans & my abs look better than they did when I graduated high school 24years ago! The trainers are all amazing & so supportive! They encouraged me to push myself more than I could have done on my own! The workouts were different every day & there are many different times to go to which makes it so much easier for me to get to the gym with my busy “mom life” and work schedule.

Today I competed my 6 week challenge. It was one of the most mentally tough things I have done in my life but I can also say it was one of the best things I did to kick off my weight-loss journey.
